SA Fashion Week

SA Fashion Week (SAFW) is about the Business of Ethical Fashion. SAFW stands as one of South Africa's premier fashion events, earning a reputation as a must-attend event for fashion enthusiasts, designers, and industry insiders alike. SAFW is a bi-annual event, showcasing S/S collections in April and A/W collections in October. SA Fashion Week (SAFW) is a XX day event organized by AFI.

Renowned luminaries of South Africa - African heritage fashion designers graced the event's stage, among them, the illustrious talents of include: Ezokhetho, Gugu by Gugu, @essssbeee in association with @Mozambiquefashionweek, Omar Adelino in association with @mozambiquefashionweek, @sungoddessafrolux, @beachcultct & @heartandheritage, @elitemonomania, Made by Leon. Renowned luminaries of South African and international design graced the event's stage, among them, the illustrious talents of Virtue SA, Refuse Clothing Brand, Foy Bear, JoelJVV - Bridal, and Sibu Msimang.

The shows take place in Johannesburg (also known as "the City of Gold"), South Africa.

In late 2025, the fashion event closed its doors until further notice in an effort to re-strategize.
